Beautiful.  That makes me very happy. :-)

local5.info sounds fairly generic.  Is it possible that other facilities 
might identify themselves to syslogd as local5 and thus end up writing 
other entries in /var/log/htsearch_log?  Should I recompile with 
different facility name?
