I spoke too soon... Deleting the databases and running htdig works fine (of course)
Running rundig.sh with 'mv' change to 'cp' as indicated in my previous message also works fine. However, running rundig.sh again causes the excerpts to get lost. I know that if I could just spend a little more time analyzing exactly what each switch does for htdig and htmerge, I could work it out, but I'm just not sure exactly when to run htdig -a -i and when not to.
