configure: error: To compile ht://Dig, you will need a C++ library. Try installi
ng libstdc++.
[EMAIL PROTECTED] htdig-3.1.6]$
I switched to root and tried installing the c++ lib
[EMAIL PROTECTED] imsops]# rpm -i libstdc++-3.2.2-5.i386.rpm
warning: libstdc++-3.2.2-5.i386.rpm: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID db42a60e
package libstdc++-3.2.2-5 is already installed
Thinking, ok, it must want the earlier version, I then tried...
[EMAIL PROTECTED] imsops]# rpm -i compat-libstdc++-7.3-2.96.118.i386.rpm
warning: compat-libstdc++-7.3-2.96.118.i386.rpm: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID
db42a60e
package compat-libstdc++-7.3-2.96.118 is already installed
Uh,., What is lib is htdig missing then?
Figured then, what the heck.,. let's try going on to the make part.
http://www.htdig.org/install.html
says
% make
(Sit back and relax for a while...)
There is no makefile though that I can find?
I'm getting nowhere fast..
help?
Tony!
