How about a url_factor or inurl_factor config
attribute which would be similar to the other
*_factor's. 

inurl_factor would take a string list of pairs
containing a URL pattern and a weight multiplier

if a result url matches the url pattern, multiplier is
applied.

This would be useful for increasing the ranking of
certain "sections" of a site. 

Example situation: 
site.com/news is more important than site.com/forums
