Topless mermaid hired to sit along Norwegian fjord
OSLO, Norway -- Line Oexnevad has an unusual job. She plays the part of a bare-breasted mermaid in a blond wig and costume fish tale for tourists riding by in boats.
The 37-year-old mother of two said most people gape in disbelief, but one man jumped off the boat and swam over to her.

Man charged with stealing urn from President Harrison's grave
COLUMBUS, Indiana -- On Tuesday a man was being held on bond after police traced the theft of urns from Indiana cemeteries back to him. The most notable urn was one taken from former President Benjamin Harrison's grave.
Craig T. Smith told a local television station that he took 40 or 50 urns and sold them for $200 to $300 apiece.

Britney hoax spears Pennsylvania radio station
WILKES-BARRE, Pennsylvania -- A WBHT-FM disc jockey told listeners that teen pop idol Britney Spears would appear at the station Friday. Hundreds of eager fans and their parents turned out.
But when a limousine rolled in, a man emerged carrying only a Britney Spears doll. According to one parent's account, DJ Bill Fox then said, "See, I told you she was a real doll to work with."

Ivana sues over surprise water stunt
NEW YORK -- First The Donald, now this: Ivana Trump says an Italian TV company subjected her to "severe emotional distress" and made her sick during a surprise stunt last summer.
Donald Trump's ex is suing the company for $3 million, alleging that an employee doused her with a large quantity of water on a "Candid Camera"- like program called "Scherzi A Parte."
