I've been going through the h-t-j source, and I like how you've re- thought the entire module in from an OO/java perspective. I notice that you've chosen not to use java.util.regex. Is that because you anticipate few developers will have version 1.4? IMHO, you could cut off a lot of development time by using regular expressions, even if you plan to remove them later for greater compatibility.
