In Harrys new OSX 5156 version I find 5 cp generators as follows: 3 versions of Pablos patent free panomatic in plain, multirow, and multirow stacked version 2 versions of Align Image Stack in linear and fisheye in addition to Panomatic and AutoPano SFIT C which I have installed separately.
1. The Align Image Stack Linear does nothing when I run it. The Finding Control Points window opens as if its trying to do something, but there is not content. 2. Also, I'm confused by the conversation about a 'prealigned panorama' type at [1] and the use of the term stacked. Does 'prealigned panorama' type refer to manually aligning images in modaic mode or is there something in the works that uses the image order in the Images tab? Would be nice if it did. Also, I thought I had understood that 'stacked' meant exposure bracketed and was sosmething primarily of use in HDR processing. But seems like the term stacked is also being used to describe overlapping images the new mosaic mode. And getting to my main question about this, are we to the point that any of the control point search types will only look at overlapping images in the search? Thomas states in [1] that the 'prealigned setting' makes use of this code which confuses me more since I'm not aware of a prealigned setting. I'm merging a bunch of projects and don't want a full search happing, but only overlapping images. So sorting this out would be most helpful.
