I was refering to my modification of pano_trafo, which hopefully will
replace the current one in precisely the same place in the file tree.
As I mentioned in the other thread about pano_trafo, I'll follow your
proposed route to introduce my version of it into the body of code.

Thanks. The argparse module is supposed to become part of the Python
Standard Library in the future, particularly in the 3.x series; I
think it may be standard there already, this is why I give it
preference over the current, less powerful, mechanism. I couldn't be
bothered to support both.
