Using most recent Hugin found in Debian Sid. If I give linefind 16-bit

finds lines.
I did a short test and can't reproduce it.
I tested a 16 bit TIFF and 8 bit jpeg. For both image linefind found 5
vertical lines (I tested only one image).
Could you provide such a sample image?
Here you go:
http://www.clanjones.org/novertlinesfoundintif.zip
One JPG, one 16-bit TIFF, converted from the same Minolta RAW file using
the same settings in Rawtherapee. Steps to reproduce:
1. Start new Hugin project.
2. Load one of the images.
3. Go to the Images tab, highlight image, set CP Detector to linefind.
4. Create control points.
Using the JPG, I get 5 vertical lines. With the 16-bit TIFF, I get none.
I even pulled them both onto the same project and ran Create control
points using linefind (separately on each image) and got the same results.
