That's what Rawtherapee does by default when you select and open files from its 
file browser. You still have to make your settings, though, and have it apply 
them to convert the RAW images. You can make settings to be defaults for 
particular image types but you still have to trigger the actual conversion.

Opening a lot of images like that at once can be slow.

dcraw/ufraw might have command line options that could tell them to convert 
using specific settings, I've not used either of them much because I prefer to 
tailor images individually.
