I hear the hum in SouthWest France and we do not have BPL around here, I started hearing it when I was in my early thirties in the late 80's when BPL did not exist, I heard the hum in the mountains where there is not BPL. We've had some areas of high pressure and so, as usual in this case the hum is very weak, pay attention to the weather conditions in your areas and jot down when the hum is very faint, here the source of the hum seems to located west, near or in the Atlantic Ocean.
