If it's any help- my Hum of some years standing has not reduced in level or vanished for long but I have got used to it in time. I remember hunting round the light switches, windows etc and dodging in and outside to nail the pest. I made measurements and read up a lot of stuff plus the forums like here that are some consolation- but mostly in a collaborative schradenfreude sense- sticking plaster. That's the way it is and as hum persists we sympathise and swop ideas and experiences to mitigate the isolation. In time more and more people will be brought into the arena, without doubt. The internet has bloomed this last 15+ years ,so at least we have that to refer to now- and it will help put pressure where it belongs [Environmental Depts].
