I think that you should also read the following:

The first one is a review of LFN which I did for the Uk Gov in 2003. The
second is an appraisal of the "Wind Turbine Syndrome"..

Regarding your e-mail below, the story did not start in 2004-2006, but a long
time before that, in the late 1960s. I have been working in the areas of
infrasound and LFN for over 40 years and supported many people through their
problems. You may have come across accounts of visits by sufferers to a lab in
the University of London in the 1970s - that was my lab and my research
students who were involved.

Most problems of LFN have been tonal problems - components like the ones you
measure. Unfortunately, it is not always possible to measure, and locate, a
noise and these complaints just linger on. A number of potential sources have
been considered in the Hum Sufferers forum - military establishments, gas
pipelines, LORAN navigation signals, HAARP experimetns, gravity waves and your
intermodulation frequencies.

IN the early 2000s, when wind turbines were developing, objectors piggy-backed
on to genuine hum sufferers and made all sorts of claims about infrasound and
LF from turbines. Turbine LF is broadband, not tonal . Infrasound from
turbines is well below audible threshold. When I pointed out that there was no
science behind these claims, one particular person ignored what I said and then
tried to discredit me, and these are the negative things you find on the web.
Some of the things said were just made up (lies) and action might have been
taken if we had been in the same jurisdiction.

As you will see from the second of the links above, I have not changed my
views. Any noise can be disturbing, low frequency or higher, but it has to be
of sufficient magnitude to disturb. Infrasound from wind turbines and much of
the LF is not of this magnitude, and should not be built up into a problem. By
doing so, wind turbine opponents undermine the real problems which members of
this forum experience.

It is the audible fluctuation from turbines which disturbs, as with any noise.

Subject: This Leventhall Guy

What began as cursory glance to check on this guy’s whereabouts spread
into following links all over the world. Boy, has this guy been
around. As previously stated, just type in his name – See all of this
crap pop up from all over associated with the same few like minded
people.

Story starts off in 2004-2006 when he was actively AGAINST low-
frequency noise as a result of detrimental health effects on the
populace in general. Changed his mind during that period and went the
opposite way. He’s been all over the world testifying in front of
government panels and courtrooms that LF is HARMLESS. According to the
good Dr. and his buddy's this stuff that we're experiencing doesn't
harm you in any way. Read some of this crap, especially the court
appearance in Wisconsin:

Now there’s a switcheroo for ya!

He’s been LF on wind farms mainly, but guess who owns the wind farms?
Electricity utility companies.
