On the East side of Bristol there is situated a playing field of about 40 acres which for over 100 years was used a site to dump chemical waste. The deposits are about 40 feet in depth with a covering of around 2 inches of top soil. Hum measurements on this field are much lower than the surrounding area, and observing these measurements it gave satisfaction to discover that without knowing the reason why, I had found it beneficial to spend time on this field when the Hum level was very high. This is further evidence that the level of discomfort experienced by sufferers will depend greatly on the type of land on which their home is standing..
