It's Neil Brook, from England.
I've heard enthusiastic opinions about his instruments (on this
mailing list too), and he surely isn't a newbie. Can you confirm what
I'm saying?

Anyway, the cheap price is probably the main reason of my doubts: I
was planning to spend no more than 3000€ for my first gurdy and, with
other makers, the choice is quite easy because you won't find a 7/8
strings gurdy for less than 3500€... So the only gurdy in range would
be a six-stringed one.

On the other hand, Brook makes bigger gurdies for a cheap price, so
there isn't a so great difference (in price) between the instruments.

I know I won't probably use the extra strings for at least a year, but
they'll be there when I need... But, will I need them? :D

Max.
