Max,

As a player of a Neil Brook gurdy, I can thoroughly recommend both his
manufacturing abilities, and his after-sales service. I do not have much
experience of the more expensive HGs, but I do feel that the instruments Neil
produces are of excellent quality both in terms of finsh and in terms of sound
quality.

I am not sure he would like to be considered as a newbie, as he has been making
instruments for at least 30 years.

I believe that he is also on this list, so if there is any explanation of his
instruments needed, I am sure he would be very willing to answer any questions
you have. Either that, or he can be contacted on [email protected] .

I expect also that the exchange rate is currently making Neil's instruments
cheaper, so it might be worth buying while this current financial climate
exists!Geoff Turner
