Hi all,

Just for fun (I'm learning LilyPond for typesetting music), I've
arranged Satie’s Gnossienne #1 for piano and HG. It's a pretty
straight arrangement that moves the top voice of the piano to the HG.
It could use drones on the tonic (G on a C/G instrument and D on a D/G
instrument). The D minor arrangement will probably sound better since
the distribution of voices will be closer to the original than in the
G minor one: In the case of the D minor version both the piano and HG
have dropped a minor third in pitch relative to the original, while in
the G minor one the HG dropped a major seventh and the piano went up a
full step.

Feel free to play with these and make any comments you want. If anyone
wants the Lilypond source file, just let me know.

-Arle
