Last night in a small Scottish border town I was priveleged to see Le Vent du Nord and Breabach on their last night of their combined Scottish tour. It was amazing. At one pont there were ten musicians on stage, what a sound. This was probably one of the best concerts I have seen in a very long time. Both bands had their own set and invited the others to join. When the two bands tour Quebec next December I urge you North Americans to to go and see them.
Definitely worth it to seek them out. I saw Le Vent du Nord in Tamworth, NH a few years ago when they toured through here and they were excellent. After that I saw them in a set in the evening in an outdoor venue in Montreal where they were completely fabulous. It's too bad the border keeps getting more daunting.
