I play two hurdy gurdies, a Symphony of Chris Allen and an Allegro of
Weichselbaumer. Quite different instruments in character, but both very well
made and very playable and enjoyable. Comparing these, the Symfony of Chris
Allen is really a very good bargain for its quality. But if a Symfony with
its modest cahracter is your taste is a question to you.

Anyhow, beware for cheap instruments that are often in bad quality and
frustrating for players. I have seen several of these, it is wasted money!
Better wait with a new car and spend money for a good hurdy. A new car makes
you happy for some weeks, a hurdy gurdy makes you happy all your life!

With kind regards

Ernic
