This capo looks pretty simple, but I can¹t tell from the picture
just how it works. Does it clamp directly onto the string, to damp the
frequency (by virtue of its mass) depending on its position? Or does it
(while clamped on) rest against something in order to stop the string at a
given point? Where can these be obtained, or how made?
