An excellent argument, Michael - I shouldn't be such a snob :-)

Congratulations on building from scratch!  Are you actually building
another one? I have an old lute body which I am thinking of matching
with one of HurdyGurdyCrafters' kits, and see if I end up with a
"real" lute-back HG.
