Mitch, I'm glad you and Scott talked about Lark Camp. It helps make my point that there is more out there than we all may know about. Everyone on the list needs to broadcast and promote any HG-freindly events they may know about. It's to everyone's benefit to piggy-back on an existing event - it brings in more attendees to the event (more cash in the coffers), and we don't have to do all the legwork of creating an event from scratch (finding a location, arranging permits, reserving accomodation, etc., etc... ) This is what I was lucky enough to find in Folk College and Folk Gathering which look like becoming premanent events here in the East, because I took the initiative to promote it on the list, and follow up with everyone who showed an interest.
