I'd suggest you talk to Mel Dorries at HurdyGurdyCrafters in Michigan, near
Flint. He has a very, very good kit and he sells custom parts for gurdies.
He is a very good maker and can help you get started and all along the way.
I'd suggest you even pay him a visit and check his amazing workshop (it's
definitely something to behold!)
