I just wanted to pop in and say that if any of you find yourself stuck on
certain parts of those German books, I might be able to help - I'm a
German-to-English translator. :) I don't know much about building hurdy
gurdies, but if you come across some vital sentences in those books that
Google Translate can't help you with, I'd be happy to try to help decipher
them.
