Best wishes, Tobie Baroque Hurdy Gurdy Course 2012 February 4-5, 2012 with Tobie Miller (Canada / France) at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, Basel, Switzerland For professional and advanced amateur hurdy gurdy players wishing to explore the 18th century repertoire and technique for the instrument. Classes will focus on style, ornamentation andBaroque forms. A harpsichordist will be present, allowing some course time to be spent working on the solo repertoire with basso continuo. Registration is limited to 12 participants, and will be confirmed by email, upon payment of the course fees (250 CHF / 200 euro). Tuning is c/g, at A=415. La présence d'un accompagnateur au clavecin donnera l'occasion de travailler l'interprétation de pièces de musique de chambre, se familiarisant ainsi avec les formes baroques, le style et les règles d'ornementation.
