If you are enjoying the music and keeping it even a little alive in its correct
form then it is important work. Record it. Overdub the other parts. Release the
recording, even in limited format or digitally. This will, if nothing else,
keep it alive for the future when someone is bound to find it and be enchanted
just as we are with field recordings or other obscure music. You can send it to
the Library of Congress and the Folklore department. I know two of the folks
there and they will be THRILLED to add your efforts to the collection and will
make sure it gets into the right hands.
