Definately - the chorus sux anyhow i think - Make all 3 of em Variation and
include the choruses and verbs as selectable FX within variation - "..I say
ole chap .." HAHA
Just for the record, I have bought an MPC2000XL, and after hours of agony,
crashing, lockups and strange OS mentality ... its an OK box - the only
decent one that will sequence and sample well, and have a big screen to do
it all on. Having 2 boxes to mix together or seperately via DJ mixer for
the ultimate live variety .... is where its at BUT .....
FOR MIXING TRACK LEVELS !!!!!!! ARGHHHHHHH !!!!! TWEAKING ANYTHING
!!!!!! doooohhhhh ~~~~
Having the MPC makes me REALLY appreciate how F**king good the RM1X is as a
sequncer and as a live midi mixer.
Its good to have good dance trax, but being able to adjust the balances
makes them into great trax !! The AKAI's mixing OS just doesnt allow for
smooth mixing, bringing in levels while you sweep a filter, cranking bits
in and out - going with the rockin vibe - ability to be spontaneous with
your set, and know something is only a tweak away .... anyway, as I always
figured - the RM1x is the shit !!!
