I have my RM1x in one side of a DJ coffin. I bought a cheap, foamless
coffin at Guitar Center for around $110. Then I went to a nearby surplus
store and bought some sheets of grey foam padding for about 25 cents a
sheet. Then I cut the padding just right so that my RMIx is extreamly snug
in the case with cusion all around it. I have an ASR-X mounted in the same
manner on the other side of the coffin (though I plan on replacing this with
an MPC-60 or an MV-30 this week.) I have another piece of foam thats cut to
fit on top of the RM1x when the case is closed. Since the RM1X is similiar
in size to a turntable, it shouldn't be hard to modify a turntable flight
case into an RM1x case. Later.
