Hi there folks. I am in the market for a used sampler to be taken to live
settings
in conjunction with a Yamaha Rm1x. I'm not sure what kind of sampler to get,
but it seems like I can get a used ESI-32 for less than $500. Is there
anything
about the ESI-4000 that would make me want to save up for it? The Yamaha
SU-700
seems to be a little better for my needs at the same price point. I have a PC
and intend to do most of my editing in Sound Forge, so I'm leaning toward the
ESI-32 as having the biggest bang for the buck in the budget sampler world.

Comments, questions, or ideas?

Thanks,
Scott
