They are all good - I suggest a simple sampler that's easy to use - I use a
Roland S760 and an MPC2000XL off the RM1x, the Roland is great, so would an
ESI4000 or even the new EMU Ultra. Hanging a smapler off the RM is a
breeze, just pick one that suits your budget and THAT HAS SOME KIND OF
PERFORMANCE MODE memories so that you can just change them on the fly for
different songs without having to have a technological heart attack setting
up your sounds live !!! - and remember - set all your track types in thE rm TO
N O T B E P H R A S E !!!!!!!!
Doing so will send reset and program change messages to your external gear,
and its painful !!!! Even if there are trax you dont use, set them to be
anything other than "phrase".
