Is their a point to this mode? why did yamaha give this mode so many
limitations (correct me if any of these are wrong: can't hear other
tracks, can't exceed 1 bar in length, only 16 steps.. any others?).
Can you at least *see* the data on the other tracks in this mode
(ala the 707.. ) btw- no, I have never seen the RM1X's LCD
*in person*... so I really have ZERO clue what the data readouts
look like.. anybody have any pics?
I've read a lot of reviews of this box that slagged the manual for
not covering all the abilities of this machine (they mad the claim
they had to discover some things through trial and error)..
what capabilities does this box have that I probably haven't seen
detailed in something like the SOS review...
Lastly,
any info on this mythic OS upgrade? some chap who reviewed this
box on Sonicstate said yamaha would be making it available before
2000.. but I trust that site as far as I can piss into the wind..
