i've got the same problem on the 'enter' button on my QY-700.
it won't register on some strokes and sometimes it registers twice. that's a
major pain in the ass coz when you are in the job functions, you know what
happens when you press enter to go into a certain job function and before
you're done with the tweaking you want to do, the damn thing just execute the
job for you!!

It's an amazing thing, and probably just fluke. But I initially bought my RM1X
from floor stock only because it was going to be weeks before the store had
new ones, I got a good deal..and I was told that it had only hit the sales
floor recently so not a lot of time spent in use.
I returned it 2 days later because I noticed the casing was
buckled...irrelevant bable thus for i know..but I have a point, amongst other
side-effects (what I assumed to be) of a fall it must have taken chicklet # 9
wasn't working too well. That is, you had to press it hard to get a
response.....and god forbid you try to press\depress the thing quickly.

So I waited, and got a brand new one. Everything working fine...happy camper,
say no more.

Two days ago I switch on the Rm1x, start recording again after a few week
absense, and notice the exact same thing about button 9...it's annoying.
Unless you press it hard you've a 50\50 chance of the pattern change taking
effect. A potential disaster if using the machine live where timing is
invariably going to be a factor.

So here's the thing, just as a matter of interest. Are you all finding that
it's key#9, or just a different key. Because there could be a pattern, excuse
the pun.
