No, I don't know anything you don't but _if_ Yamaha were to update the RM1X, what improvements would you like to see. Here's a couple that were getting to me: tempo based delays & filters. EQ on each track (2band like the SW1000xg would be enough). 2 x Midi ports. Move Headphone socket to front of unit.
