Love my Rm1x...I've seen the post of disadvatages and will agree with
those...but I havevn't found anything else that sounds as good and is as
easy to use. Perhaps it's not a problem for others but in the lower tracks
1-8 I haven't been able to load anything other then drum/perc phrases..Is
this isn't a major deal because I use the RM1x primarily as a Drum machine
for the rest of my Kit. I'm curious why you returned your Layla though;
I've heard nothing but great things about Echo products. Being a PC user
with MOTU attached....well, you get the picture. Take care, rjd
