i'm not suggesting to remove the RMB functions, i just mean that it would
be possible to select the RMB function _and_ the note properties window
function using the same controller
saves gui space + simplifies things

these are indeed 'general' pattern editor options (on the same level as
size/res/hear/quant/drum-piano) so maybe these buttons should not be in a
separate section
you could even argue that quant/hear and input mode are general settings,
not pattern editor specific so maybe they dont really belong in the pattern
editor section ?
