Hello, my name is Heitor da Rocha and i shared a drumkit about a year ago called Brasil Batuke on the Hydrogen forum. This kit comes with a collection of many afro-brasilian instruments like Agogo, Berimbau, Caxixi, Cowbell, Cuica, Pandeiro, Rebolo, Reco-reco, Surdo, Tamborim, Timba, Timbal, Triangulo (Triangle) and Apito (Whistle). It was originally recorded by Dave Yowell, a british producer based on Bahia - Brasil, who made this work for another software, shared it on his site and gave me permission to share with Hydrogen community since i gave him the credits. Despite some things to be improved (not in the samples but in the dynamics and other stuff on de h2drumkit), i think is a nice kit to be shared on the drumkit list server so anyone can download it (and download a fresh version with further improvements) without need to get into the forum. I don't understand anything about sourceforge. Help to make things straightfoward will be much appreciated.
I'm a fan of the Death Metal drumkit and my kind of music is actually heavy metal and subgenres, but it doesn't make me blind of things that happen around me, like the culture of my coutry, and i think hydrogen deserves to have a ethnical drumkit. I also was working on another kit that i want to share that is dedicated only to the Pandeiro, a symbol of Brasil's samba and an expoent instrument in many other popular genres. This kit comes with more samples of pandeiro than the Dave Yowell's kit so it have a too much more natural sound. I would love to make this possible.
