I heard there are a few Japanese projects to design a full set of Japanese true-type fonts, though I don't know about the lisense. So far there are no free (X-like lisense) Japanese true-type fonts, except for ones which are generated from large (32x32?) bitmap fonts. My intention was that by combining CJK part of 12x13ja or 18x18ja with some appropriate variable-width fonts, we can get a new font immediately. (1) I want to know how people here think about this project. (2) I don't know at all about font file and I want to know some literature to study. --- Tomohiro KUBOTA <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> http://www.debian.or.jp/~kubota/ "Introduction to I18N" http://www.debian.org/doc/manuals/intro-i18n/ _______________________________________________ I18n mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/i18n
