We were in Costa Rica for twelve days on a photo trip. One of the reasons we went was to learn to photograph flying hummingbirds. Examples are on our blog. You have not lived until hummingbirds flap their wings against you back as they zoom past while you are trying to focus on one nearby.
We just changed the home page photo on our web site to the elusive Margay cat we saw. She quickly disappeared into the forest after an early morning appearance in her territory. We also photographed the endangered Great Green Macaws that come in from the wild to a farmer's barn for treats. They are breeding on his farm. We knew Costa Rica was wonderful, but how wonderful has to be experienced.
