Hey Birders,

Today I observed about 250 Tree Swallows sitting on power lines along a 2
mile stretch of W 109th St. S. south of Prairie City (sort of the eastern
boundary of Neal Smith NWR).

I also continue to hear/see other cool stuff such as Red-headed Woodpeckers,
Bell's Vireos, Eastern Kingbirds and other grassland goodies at Neal Smith
NWR. However, I did not hear any Bobolinks singing today (even though they
were singing like crazy on June 30).
