Returned to Little Wall this morning between 8:30 and 10:00 am. Much
slower than previous 2 days with only 75 to 100 L.Scaup even on the lake
for the 1st half hour. A group of a dozen or so Mallards, 6 pintails and
10 Common Mergs joined by the time we decided to leave. Saw no Eagles this
morning, they were all over the place the morning before!

Had huge flock of Longspurs, a couple thousand easy, flush in front of my
truck on the way to the lake on Hwy 69 just north of Story City, didnt see
them on the return trip home. Did however see huge groups of Longspurs on
saturday, that I forgot to mention in yesterdays post, flying around
fields next to Bob Pyle Marsh and Tiegs private wetland area just west of
Bob Pyle.

Stopped at the Roland lagoons this morning as well, couple hundred Canada
Geese, along with 10 White Fronted Geese, 20 Cansvasbacks,2 drake
Goldeneyes,30+ L.Scaup and 7 Ringnecked Ducks. We also flushed a
Kingfisher off the creek that lies just west of the lagoons.
