Jim Dinsmore and I spent this morning birding in Clarke and Monroe counties. We
tallied >100 species, including many season firsts, along with these highlights:

1 Cattle Egret in e Clarke Co.
1 Red-shouldered Hawk and 1 Philadelphia Vireo at Woodburn Unit, Stephens State
Forest
13 species of warblers including Magnolia, BT Green, and Wilson's
an early Dickcissel in Monroe Co.

Also, Jim Moreland found a pair of Black-necked Stilts today at Bjorkboda
Marsh. This afternoon I easily relocated the pair at the same location. These
are one of my favorite birds!
