Sorry for the late posting, tried to send it last night
but it didn't go through.
I went and checked a few areas in Black Hawk Co. and Butler
Co. yesterday, didn't find anything extraordinary but did find
some decent birds:

George Wyth S.P.
Am.Robin 1 , somewhat scarce this winter
Sharp-Shinned Hawk 1
Saw-Whet Owls 2 (which where meantioned by Matt earlier)

Big Woods Lake
No.Flicker-1 male (Red-Shafted race) which is rare in Iowa
Red-Shouldered Hawk 1
Red-Breasted Nuthatch 1
Rough-Legged Hawk 1

Butler Co.
Pileated Woodpecker 1

My last stop was John Deere pond in Waterloo. Where I made a
quick stop before the security guard could run me off! I saw
6 untagged Trumpeter Swans, 5 a. 1 juv. and some Cackling Geese.

Good Birding,
Tommy Stone
