Sorry for the late posting, tried to send it last night but it didn't go through. I went and checked a few areas in Black Hawk Co. and Butler Co. yesterday, didn't find anything extraordinary but did find some decent birds:

Am.Robin 1 , somewhat scarce this winter Sharp-Shinned Hawk 1 Saw-Whet Owls 2 (which where meantioned by Matt earlier) Big Woods Lake No.Flicker-1 male (Red-Shafted race) which is rare in Iowa Red-Shouldered Hawk 1 Red-Breasted Nuthatch 1 Rough-Legged Hawk 1 Butler Co. Pileated Woodpecker 1 My last stop was John Deere pond in Waterloo. Where I made a quick stop before the security guard could run me off! I saw 6 untagged Trumpeter Swans, 5 a. 1 juv. and some Cackling Geese.
