Hi,

I went to Forney Lake late yesterday afternoon to see if I could relocate the
Mottled Duck but did not see it.

I did locate John Carlini and Shari Schwartz of Lincoln huddled behind the pump
station out of the wind.

They had spotted 3 Neotropic Cormorants.

The Cormorants were busy passing sticks back and forth. Two were on one muskrat
mound and one was on another. I have photos comparing two Neotropics
with two Double-crested Cormorants.

There is a pull-in area (east of the boat ramp) with a circle drive and these
birds were seen from that area looking north.

The Cinnamon Teal was located towards the west end of the lake. From the west
pump station, the bird was located back to the east near the largest Muskrat
lodge.
