Hi All,

About 1030 AM, I had a CLAY-COLORED SPARROW associating with a small group of
4-5 Chipping Sparrows and a handful of House Sparrows on the Grand View
University campus in Des Moines. While talking to a Mr. Paul Roisen on the
phone shortly afterwards, not only did the bird sing at least once, but Mr.
Roisen informed me that the record early date for this species is April 8th...
making this a new record early observation.

What will this spring have in store for us next?
