Last hummingbird of season observed at our feeders on Oct. 9. Lansing, Northeastern part of Northeastern most county. Where we have a huge, urgent and enormously destructive frac sand mining issue on our hands; and no one beyond 30-miles Southwest of our county seems to know or care.

Good morning!

Is anyone else seeing hummingbirds? After thinking I'd seen the last one of the season on Oct. 5th, another one appeared a week ago--and then seemed to go on it's way the following day. Now, there is another one here, for the past 4 days, sipping and slurping on the salvias and cigar plants. It was sitting on a tomato cage yesterday in the 34.7 degree frosty morning air,
and I wonder if it is ever going to leave.

Enjoy a wonderful day!
