Relatively calm now, we still have a good flock of 6-10 Pine Siskins
arriving at the feeders, and have now for a good four weeks now. A new
arrival or first time I've noted them were some American Tree Sparrows.
I've also been hosting a pair of Common Grackles, one is an adult and I
think it has a bunged up wing, it can fly it just can't fly well, the
other is a juvenile that seems to be tagging along with the adult. Also
of note a pair of N. Cardinals showed up this morning as did a
Black-capped Chickadee, both of which are not regularly seen in town.
