Yesterday morning Stuart and I walked our dogs on the Trestle to Trestle
trail in Des Moines, near Bob Lenc nursery. We saw a female SPOTTED
TOWHEE near the river, along with an OSPREY and a lingering EASTERN
PHOEBE. There are still lots of WHITE-THROATED SPARROWS around.
