Terima kasih bang sanggam atas infonya. Setelah sedikit tahu, ternyata harga satu analisa bukan main mahalnya. Apalagi spt bang sanggam sebutkan, malah nanti menjadi mubazir, jadi musti mikir dan benar2 mengerti supaya tak ditawari analisa yg macam2 dari core service company. Kebetulan saya lagi nyusun guide line & procedure intarenal.

What are the objectives of the coring program? What confirming data will be captured? Drilling fluid and mud properties? Well-site core handling? Plug selection and sample and core preservation……? Where is the water in the pore system and how much is there? Do you expect 2 or 3 phases flowing in the reservoir? What is the anticipated drive mechanism? What is the budget for RCA, SCA and Special project and who will manage samples/rock materials? What are the most pertinent questions and can 'quick look' data be utilized? What data is being integrated and upscaled? Was the core cut for geologic purposes, engineering, petrophysical or reservoir management? Do you know the brine properties? Are there any reservoir condition tests scheduled and will live fluid or dead fluid be used? Is Wettability a major concern? What is the expected recovery process and what saturations will be increasing or decreasing? Will sand production be a problem? Is wellbore stability an issue? Do you know the net mean stress in the system? Did the coring operation alter the wettability? Did the core preparation process alter the wettability? Are there clays in the pore system? Are completions/kill fluids/drill fluids damaging to liquid permeability? Will you be using NMR logs? Are you or anyone on your team using seismic attribute analysis? Do you have a clean, laminated, or shaly reservoir section? Do you have fractures at the nano to macro scale? Are the intrinsic reservoir properties stress dependent? Are legacy plug samples available? Do you have a gas reservoir that does nor show cross-over? Is saturation calibration from multiple sources valuable to you? Will someone be putting the data into a numerical reservoir model? Do you know the principle stress direction ? Are elastic rock properties (Poisson's ration, yield point, Young's modulus) needed by another team member? Do you how feet of HC column the seal can support? How important is reservoir compartmentalization for your reservoir? Who selected the last samples for either a petrophysics or subsurface evaluation? Core Gamma Log 2. Core Photography 3. Fluid Saturation by Retort and Dean Stark Methods 4. X-Ray CT or CT scan 5. Full diameter core sample preservation 6. Core Plugs selection for poro, perm & grain density 7. Digital photography after plugging 8. Clean and dry plugs 9. Effective porosity, gas permeability & Gas density measurements 10. Core description Untuk *Special Core Analysis *tahap yg dilakukan adalah: 1. Petrography analysis: Thin section 2. scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDAX) untuk clay & cement, pore distribution 3. X-ray diffraction, mineralogy & clay fraction 4. Cation exchange capacity (CEC) 5. Formation Factor (FF) in ambient and overburden conditions untuk m factor 6. Pore volume compressibility 7. Brine permeability as function of thoughput 8. Air / Brine resistivity index, untuk n (saturation exponent) factor 9. Water salinity, irreducible Sw 10.
