Pertumbuhan Kebutuhan listrik pertahun rata rata 9% atau setara penambahan
pembangkit 5500 MW , hal ini tentunya memerlukan energi primer yg cukup
banyak khususnya non BBM .
Hasil audit BPK tahun 2010 ada potensi pembengkaan biaya produksi listrik
hampir 20 T karena penggunaan BBM yg berlebihan karena kesulitan mendapat
gas untuk pembangkit , shg pembangkit listrik gas harus dioperasikan dg BBM
( MFO/HSD) untuk menggantikan gasnya ( dual firing ) biar listriknya tidak
oglangan , jadi kayaknya kedepan prospek gas untuk listrik bagus

ABSTRACT:
Resource plays such as Coal Bed Methane fields typically exhibit a number of
unique characteristics that set them apart from other hydrocarbon
accumulations. We address the fundamentals of CBM, the steps associated with
appraisal and development of CBM assets as well as the markedly different
required for CBM development when compared with conventional oil and gas
fields.
BIOGRAPHY:
Laurent Alessio is a managing partner of LEAP Energy, an independent
Subsurface Consulting and Technology services group headquartered in Kuala
Lumpur, Malaysia with operations throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
He has a wide industry experience in conventional and unconventional
hydrocarbon recovery, through a wide range of consulting assignments,
previous roles as petroleum engineer, subsurface manager and development
manager with Shell and joint operating companies in the Netherlands, UK and
Malaysia. Laurent holds an engineering degree from Ecole Centrale de Lyon
and Imperial College London.
