While I was at it, I interposed a cs folder, so that everything now lines up 
with what we want to do with the ASF repository.

I made the "source" folder "mapper" for now. As Clinton mentioned, the goal 
would be to move the DataAccess source into its own "dao" folder under "/cs".  
For now, "mapper" includes the source for Common, DataAccess, DataMapper, and 
Schemas.

I wasn't sure if we were ready for the "/cs/dao" folder yet.

If we did that, we might also want to move "external-bin" under "/cs" so that 
the solutions could share it. (Do we need to do the same for Common?)

Actually, we might want to pull "External-Bin" out of the repository all 
together. For now, we could ZIP up the 1.1 version and make it a download from 
SourceForge. We could have the "external-bin" installed on our machines 
locally, and point the Visual Studio references there, without checking it into 
the repository.
